Yeah, I agree. The shipping is steep, but the trade-off is that everyone can order a badge directly from the company, regardless of where they live or when they will be at the Park.

But if someone orders the badges to save on shipping, will the company ship each badge to different addresses? If not, the person who buys them will have to spend more money to reship the individual badges (not counting buying envelopes). I think. Since I don't know the costs, it's hard to say.

No, that would defeat the pupose of combined shipping. The purchaser will have to distribute the badges how they see fit.

I think the idea is... since these badges are designed for our "meets" when we will all be in the same place, then whoever receives them can just bring them all together and distribute them at the gathering. Of course, if you want one for your own purposes, and/or will not be able to come to any of the meets, then you will have to order your own and pay for the shipping.

Ah, yes! I keep forgetting about the meets. In that case, it all makes sense. I should really pay more attention.

Well, once the artwork has been approved and is in the system, then anybody that wants to order multiple badges can do so. This company is VERY flexible.

Back to work. Talk to you soon.

    Exclamation The Official Micechat Badge!!

Here is the final proof that will be available for sale after 12pm on Tuesday, May 17. The badge will be about the same size (1.75" x 3.00") as the Disneyland "guest of honor" badges.
User names and first names WILL be interchangeable(i.e. CHARLIE on top and Circarama on bottom)
The pin-back badges will cost $10.50 each. They are $2 more than I originally posted because I wanted them to be a true oval (custom cut) like you get at Disneyland. The shipping on my badge is $8.04. Multiple orders are available to the same address to reduce shipping fees

I will post ordering info tomorrow by 9am PST

ALL ELEMENTS OF THE BADGE ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE

They couldn't use the other font for the names? This one seems kinda plain, but I'm still buying one! I have to admit, though, the new font is much easier to read, especially from a distance.

I love the badges, and after the meet yesterday, I think they're a great idea.

I think it's much better the way you did it with the simple font for the names; it sets it apart form the MiceChat logo. Great job Charlie!!
