I'm NOT saying I would wear this thing on my shurt....just pin it to a strap on my CamelBak or something like that. Inconspicuous and people wouldn't be staring at my........ ummmmmm.....chest....all day!
What's wrong with drawing attention to our chests?

I don't care what anyone else says, I'm wearing mine on my chest.
Well, light travels from the sun. Then, bounces off of our planet, and back into our eyes so we can perceive color. My body can intercept that light and dance around on it!

    Exclamation More badge info...

    Yo, I'm Back!!
I just got off the phone with the badge company again. I need to procure the Micechat artwork and e-mail it to them. When they have a badge mocked up, they are going to e-mail me a pic of it. I will post it online for 24-48 hours, and you can offer your opinion. If necessary, we can make adjustments to the prototype, then we can start ordering after the final proof has been approved.

I think this is a great idea! Maybe we could make it so that the badges are gold, like the new CM ones with the bold MiceChat logo on it and our names beneath? We should all submit our ideas. This should be fun

The badge should be simple: MiceChat logo (as big as possible) on a white, oval bg—simple and elegant.

This is what I would do for a badge... Two examples showing Firstname large and Screenname Large:

    Badge A:

    Badge B:

The weird shapes are there to keep it interesting. I was going to put in 'Go Matt!', but it looked to cluttered.

I personally like badge A better. IMO I would rather it look like a normal name badge until a Micechatter walked up and had to look close to see my sn.

    I agree.
As nice as the other parks are, we must always remember that it all began at Disneyland. Disneyland should be the crown jewel in the Disney crown.

Exclamation Beware of the Disney Legal eagles...

Just a food for thought  ,
I better let it be known ,Dont forget that it may be alright for you to use the "micechat" logo with permision given within here on the forum, It may NOT be a very good idea using the castle logo or anything else without Disney permission on the badges.
Sorry But i know what the suits think of "aftermarket" artwork
And so beware, but i agree it need to have the Micechat logo big and bold to be easily seen, and it would be great with our names both real and chat.
So far looking good , Since i have been there done that, just thought I would give you my nickles worth.
"I may never grow up! Its so over rated."
But as my kids do grow up, I am Glad they have enjoyed the Disney Magic.

I love B! I think it would be the better choice too because MOST of us on here recognize each other by screen names. Now would these be hard, CM/pin ike badges or more like stickers?

Nah, I like screename bigger. But whatever's more popular (time for a new poll perhaps)

And I definitely think we should save on a lot of shipping by having a lot of the badges for people who will be attending, say, an early in the weekend micechat meet shipped to one of our micechat personnel for distribution at that meet. It would save a whole lot of the cost of the badge for those people (ahem, half price anyone?)
