Sorry But i know what the suits think of "aftermarket" artwork
And so beware, but i agree it need to have the Micechat logo big and bold to be easily seen, and it would be great with our names both real and chat.
So far looking good , Since i have been there done that, just thought I would give you my nickles worth.
This is a good point, there really shouldn't be any Disney copyright logos at all on our "MiceChat" badges.

I think we could get away with the castle... I mean we all have artwork on the web from various Disney films and other sources and we haven't been witch-hunted. Maybe a 'Castle Artwork © Disney' in fine print is in order?

Well... just putting up an avatar is a lot different than actually making a product--and money exchanging hands. As a matter of fact, has anyone run this artwork by the company that will be making them? I don't think they will accept any logos or artwork that is obviously owned by Disney. They could be liable.

I was originaly going to put a BVHE\TDL style castle but I got lazy. Maybe we can make our own as a work-around?

I like the idea of a badge to identify us to each other so count me in. I agree we should our MiceChat names since that is how most of us will recognize each other from this board. JMHO

Frankly, I don't think it needs any "Disney" artwork enhancement... I think the simple MiceChat logo is brilliant!

Just a thought on this... I'd agree that anything under Disney copyright is absolutely off limits, but as far as the reference to the Disneyland 50th, if this badge is indeed to acknowledge Disneyland's TRUE 50th, wouldn't it be more unique to have the actual date of July 17, 2005 on there also?

For our own logo, why don't we have *where the castle used to be* a "royal" banner with "July 17th, 2005" and Tinkerbell touching it with her wand and golden Mickey ears behind? If I knew how I would make a sketch of it... but I don't

I vote for badge C, but I'd still rather have the sn smaller. I don't like having to explain to people what disneyguy247 is, it gets old. I'd rather have a regular name tag that would be noticible to micechatters but not regular guests.

I guess this is part of my reason for simply wanting us to agree on one color of the Mickey Paint chips, then just tie them on somewhere...no one would think anything, but we'd all recognize each other....

    Kinda likeummmmmmmmm....I dunno.......picking a particular shirt color.....

That looks very nice drnilescrane. Thanks for adding that date. What tool are you using to craft that?

    Thankyou!

I used Macromedia Fireworks. I got the fonts from Visions Fantastic and The Disney Experience (I Hope!). I kinda had to teach myself graphics over the last year and It's proved very helpful.

Here's a simpler one - MiceChat themed, perfect for any season or occasion...
