So i did the Disney trip this weekend and weee what a blast. We live in SF Bay area, so we go to disney about once maybe twice a year. Sunday morning I discovered Pin Trading and OMG how fun is that? Well, it was first Sunday of the Month and what do you know i get a starter kit (lanyard and buttons to trade) and i got a FREE button for the first Sunday. OMG why cant i live in SO. Cal! /cry

Anyhow i ended up walking around Calif adventures trading and getting 4 out of the 6 Asian Stamp Pins. GO ME! now i just need the other 2. ah well..

Welcome to pin trading. You are forever sucked in now and 10% of your paycheck will go to all the new and limited edition pins every month. j/k

You got the free GWP Croc pin because it was the first Sunday of the month. If you want the others in the series, you can probably find them on eBay. *nods*

Depends on which pins you want to buy. For example, if you had wanted to buy the limited edition Nightmare pins that came out, you had to get a wristband and stand in line at the Le Bat en Rouge for them on the release day.

However, open edition pins you can find throughout the park....just until they run out. *coughliketheHalloweenpinscough*

I'm hoping to get a few new pins to add to my collection. I'm bringing my trade stock with me. I've got a pin that I bet few, if any, have.

Pin trading can be fun. But trade only what you like, don't get all rabid over limited editions, cast lanyards seires, etc...that just takes the fun out of it. Also, when trading, give equally what you take (leave the Sedesmas, ProPins, and EuroDisney pins at home).

Me, I'm not big into buying pins, I just like to trade and get something cooler than I had. I always pick a different theme when I go. I have to come up with something new soon!

true, although i would never trade a 6.95 pin on lanyard(for me too expensive) just buy cheap traders but no paris, propins,or sedesmas) yesterday someone was trading fake sedesmas(as if you couldn't get any worse) they had no copyright or made in china logos!

Wow, that's just sad! That takes all the fun out of it for guest and cast alike. This is why fewer CMs wear lanyards anymore.

welcome to the pin trading world. Your wallet will never be the same
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

This one. Actually people already have it, but I doubt it is all over in Disneyland yet. I could be wrong, but given that it has not been on sale a week yet and is only available in Seattle, I doubt it has reached saturation yet.
