Candlelight Processional 2006 Problems (merged threads)

Ok, I was on at 10am and ready to go, got in first second.

And......

all $ 50 meals sold out Saturday, in fact most of Saturday sold out

This is a HUGE screwup by Disney

Do we get the shirts and blankets now ???

Being sold out is not their fault but the complete chaos of the server crash, etc is the problem we all have.

If I remember correctly, they got in a bunch of reservations from sunday before everything went haywire. So, doesnt sound like a huge screwup. Just sounds like a lot of people got their reservations taken before you.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!! I STILL CAN'T GET IN THE DARN SITE!!! I BOOKED TO STAY THE FIRST TWO WEEKS AT DISNEYLAND IN DECEMBER (SINCE FEB.) SO I COULD BOOK THIS F$%^*! THING AND THIS HAPPENS!! AHHH! 3 DAYS THIS WEEK SITTING AT MY COMPUTER AND NOTHING!!!! AND CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY THEY ARE USING THIS SAME *&^*&%^* COMPANY TO BOOK THIS!!!! There...that's better. =)

man.. the site is REALLLLLY slow.

but I got my tickets to Napa Rose on sunday! I would of liked to have saturday, but you take what you can get!

I got tickets to Hooke's Point on Sunday. I wanted Storyteller's, but oh well, what can you do. At least i got them.

If you're still trying, be patient. It literally took me almost 20 minutes to get from the first page to my confirmation page. Everything is loading soooo slowly.

I just think they need a better system in place next year, a lot of our frustration isnt over them being sold out but over the feeling that because the server crashed the way it did, many of us didnt even get a shot at trying to get reservations on sunday

you would think that someone could program a server that can handle 500,000 people at once trying to get tickets.

ticketmaster.com used to have this problem when world series tickets went on sale (think of 2002 with the angels... geez.)

Now ticketmaster.com works fine when they get millions of hits at once. I dont know what they did, but someone from register123.com shoudl ask ticketmaster how to get this to work.

IM over here on the east coast and I have people working in theme parks, offices, & homes trying to get on the page and it keeps "Timed out" or what not...

Well, they're letting me register my profile... but I'm also on hold with Disney Dining to expand the ressies from 4, to 6 or 8. Maybe we can make a party out of it!!

Yah, I'm not getting through either. Been trying since 10am when I woke up and I got through to the "Register Online Now" button but after that it keeps saying that my connection has been reset while the site was loading or that the registration site is experiencing heavy traffic and to try again later. :P

Channeling ManaByte here... "OMGZWTFBBQ! THE EVENT IS SOLD OUT BY ANNUAL PASSHOLDERS! HYSTERIA HYSTERIA!!!"

Just kidding.

God, what a disaster. Register123 should be ashamed that they can't handle the server traffic when they are the ones hosting the registration site. If anything, Disney should get a refund on what they paid this company to handle the site.

EDIT/UPDATE: Eeak... I'm on the profile screen. Everything is sold out except Yamabuki and the Vineyard Room.
