DLForever's Veterans Day Weekend Trip Report

Part 1

Well after deciding at the last minute to come to park I rush to get prepared for what would be a 2 day visit at the Happiest Place on Earth. I booked my room at the Hyatt ($45) on Priceline.com and went to sleep knowing I would be at the Happiest Place on Earth the next day. I woke up the next day and took the bus to the Metrolink train. I got off at Orange Station as the train continued to Riverside. (I usually get off at Fullerton.) I met the ART there (reservation only) and headed off to Disneyland.....

When I arrived I was greeted with this...

I knew it was going to be a busy day....

The bag check line was short, but the wait was long to get in DL.

I picked out a spot on Main Street next to the Indian statue to watch the TV Taping. I stood for a long time (about 3 hours).

After a long wait, dancers started preforming as part of the tapings.

Finally the parade started. It was great to see the parade again. It is my favorite of all.

I decided to walk to IASW, but decided to eat even though I had just had a snack...I decided to try Redd Rocketts. I took a few photos of the Nemo Construction Wall on the way to RR's.

I then decided to risk getting locked out of Disneyland and go to DCA to see the Block Party Bash at night. I had never seen it at night and it was more beautiful than ever.
