Talking DLForever's Veterans Day Weekend Trip Report with Photos (56k beware!)

    Part 1

Well after deciding at the last minute to come to park I rush to get prepared for what would be a 2 day visit at the Happiest Place on Earth. I booked my room at the Hyatt ($45) on Priceline.com and went to sleep knowing I would be at the Happiest Place on Earth the next day. I woke up the next day and took the bus to the Metrolink train. I got off at Orange Station as the train continued to Riverside. (I usually get off at Fullerton.) I met the ART there (reservation only) and headed off to Disneyland.....

When I arrived I was greeted with this...

I knew it was going to be a busy day....

The bag check line was short, but the wait was long to get in DL.

The Christmas Tree with camera mast.

I picked out a spot on Main Street next to the Indian statue to watch the TV Taping. I stood for a long time (about 3 hours).

After a long wait, dancers started preforming as part of the tapings.

The host of the tapings (He got annoying at times, repeating the same things over and over).

Finally the parade started. It was great to see the parade again. It is my favorite of all.

    Chicken Little

    More Parade Pictures

Finally, the parade stoped and Miley Cyrus preformed. She is Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel.

After this session of the filming was over I went to get some ice cream...

and checked out the wait board...

I decided to go to It's a Small World Holiday

...but got sidetracked along the way.
    More to come in.....

    PART 2!
    coming later tonight!

    Part 2

Sorry about the wait on this guys. Midterms have been taking their toll.

I decided to walk to IASW, but decided to eat even though I had just had a snack...I decided to try Redd Rocketts. I took a few photos of the Nemo Construction Wall on the way to RR's.

A new Jedi trainer? I have never seen him before.

Space was 55 minutes at this point...

Redd Rocketts line was too long (isn't it always this way?) and I decided to head towards the hub. I ate and catched the 2nd filming afterwards.

    Randy Jackson

    Ryan Seacrest

More shots of the Fantasy Parade (different floats!)

    Aurora

    Stitch CLAUS! (It was hilarious!)

I then finally went on It's a Small World Holiday. I enjoyed this very much!

Then it was off to Roger Rabbit....

    And then to Billy Hill..

I then decided to risk getting locked out of Disneyland and go to DCA to see the Block Party Bash at night. I had never seen it at night and it was more beautiful than ever.

    BLOCK PARTY!!

Well thats it for Part 2! Gotta get back to class!

Coming in PART 3 I have some pictures of Parade of Dreams at Night along with the IASW facade...
