I wonder if they could use both shows together? I like the new show, and would rather combine them into one fantastic attraction.

This has been a Filmways presentation dahling.
Unfortunately, the Opera House is one of those locations that will never pull in big numbers - so whether Lincoln or 50 Magical Years stay, the majority of guests wouldn't notice or care.
My vote would be to keep 50 Magical Years, or something similar to the concept after the 18 month celebration. I have honestly dragged every friend and family member over and over again to see this attraction and they have all enjoyed the pre-show art and the film. I barely could get anybody to see the Journey To Gettsyberg show with me.
LOL I like how someone mentioned putting Philarmagic in the Opera House - why not?![]()
Hey, it's an Opera House...and Philarmagic is about music...umm...Originally Posted by Evan-500

They actually could show both. In the exhibit room, they could do the 50 years film. In the theater, Lincoln. I just solved the dilemma. Ok, next!

if they do that they better be handing out samples at the exit. :devil:Originally Posted by Evan-500

I have it on good authority that once 50 Magical Years ends its run a new attraction will open in the Opera House.
Entitled Disney's California Adventure: The First 5 Magical Years, it will feature a film staring Pee Wee Herman and Mr. Incredilble in a salute to the creative genious that brought this dream to a reality.
If they do bring back Lincoln, I hope they ditch that crappy 3D sound gimmick. I prefered the old show.
I thought the 3D sound effect was the only thing worth coming back for...Originally Posted by FormerDiz

In the summer of 1996, there was a special exhibit in Disneyland called the Animation Celebration. It contained a host of special displays on the history of Disney animation, with lots of cels, drawings, and concept art. However, one special part of the exhibit was the recreation of Walt's two offices in the Studio.
