    Crowds the week of Thanksgiving

Hi, I wanted to see if anyone knew how crowded the park is the week of Thanksgiving. I'm thinking Monday or Tuesday before Thanksgiving, thanks!

I guess I have the same question as I have basically the whole week off. Was thinking of going on Tuesday.

Re: Crowds the week of Thanksgiving

My buddy and I are driving down to CA this weekend and will be at the park Mon-Wednesday......From what Ive heard, Thanksgiving time is busy, but since this will be the week before, and weekdays, perhaps the crowds will be a little lighter. I usually only get to come down to DL one or two times a year, so I'm with you in hoping it won't terribly overcrowded...but if so...oh well!

Not as bad as Thurs-Sat, but still too crowded for me (I'm guessing 40K-plus). Wed night will likely be very bad.

It's busy enough from the 17 to the 26th that DL is open 8:00 AM until Midnight every night and DCA is open from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM.

Fantasmic! goes back to not only daily performances but TWO each day

The day before and the day of Turkey Day last year saw more crowds than Disneyland could handle. This caused the gates to shut on in-coming guests (or they at least sold out. Cant remember).

The week of Thanksgiving will probably see crowds like in the summer.

When I had my AP - about 2.5 years ago - the holidays weren't bad - we went Turkey Day weekend and Christmas, crowds were big but manageable and rides weren't bad - but I haven't been since the 50th and from what everyone has said is that the park is hoppin all the time right now - which is good, right?

Which is why I'm hoping tuesday will be my best bet.

If not..Ill do just what I did on the 10thGot stuck right at the ball exit off the 57 and was in a parking lot. I simply turned around and spent a day at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga!

If Veteran's Day maxed out, I'm sure that Thanksgiving will too. It's practically a 5 to 7 day weekend for some. It used to be rumored that the day before Thanksgiving was always empty, but that was years ago when AP's didn't raid the place like insects. You can't go by those specualtions anymore...it's a matter of luck now-a-days.

The non-stop crowds really annoy me.

In the airline industry, frequent flyers that are flying on cheap tickets just to get miles or because they just love flying, are often referred to as "Gate Lice."

Sounds like many classes of frequent customers get buggy little nicknames assigned to them.

But don't blame me if Disneyland Annual Passholders start to be referred to as Gate Lice. I can't help it who might read my posts!

Re: Crowds the week of Thanksgiving

Anyone heard any more updates, estimates, scuttlebutt specifically on tomorrow and Tuesday?

My usual sources seem to be totally conflicting! Some are saying it shouldn't be too bad, but others are saying big crowds expected. And my one "source" that I can usually rely on for Disneyland's official estimates...is on vacation! How dare he!!!

Monday and Tuesday will be crowded as some schools may already be off! Disneyland will be open to midnight on all nights this week! The weather says that it will be in the 70's during the day and the 60's- high 50's at night! No rain, no showers! It will be perfect!
