Do character CMs so this often, or do you think she is with a special guest?
I think it's a great idea when lines are short, adds a bit of fun.

Disney FAQ#275: What is DCA?
DCA stands for Disney Construction Area. All the Cast Members are themed with hard hats and steel toed boots.
When I was really little I rode the Mad Tea Party with Alice! I think it's an excellent idea because it really brightens up an already bright day!
The daydream princess
I have this horrible mental image of Minnie's head flying off as they whipped around a corner, traumatizing every kid in the area.

When I worked in attractions characters used to ride on the rides all the time as a magical memory. Not too much on space or buzz but all the time at auto we had them.

Characters aren't cast members. They are characters. So the "no riding attractions" rule doesn't apply to them as it would a Haunted Mansion CM riding Big Thunder Mountain. Fab 7 can be caught riding various attractions with guests. Splash Mountain has been one that Mickey, Pluto, and Goofy have been on. A characters head won't fly off. They are firmly attached just like yours is to your body.
No, that is at Disneyland. In WDW it's Goofys Barnstormer and I used to work itI worked in Toontown but they call it toontown fair. The Characters would ride it at night all the time. In fact I even rode with them sometimes when it was dead in the park, most nights it was slow in TT. It was fun, one of my good friends was Eeyore and I would ride with him almost every night on the ride.
It was really fun, the kids always got a big kick out of it. So did IIt was fun because it was like playing at the end of the night.
We used to ride all the timeThey never cared as long as there wasn't a long line. I also would be asked by parents that didn't want to ride if I would ride with their kids on the Barnstormer (Gadgets go go). The two coasters are the same track but they decorated them differently at the two parks.
