I wonder, how much harder do you think it is to climb wearing a Mickey costume than just normal mountain climbing? I've heard some of those costumes do an excellent job of impairing your senses and that's not what I would want while scaling even a fake mountain. Granted, I'm still thrilled that somebody's willing to do it, but I had to ask.
"Do it for me then. Your gaming buddies are going to be there too. It will be good for you kids to go out and blow the stink off yourselves for one night."

"Fine. For you. And for the eradication of stink."

I would think they would begine with the regular climbers before they try Climber Mickey..... Since the costume would impair the vision... unless they have a modified costume for climing whihc impairs less vision....

Can't wait to see the photos..... is it March 19th yet... (day the good photos go up....)

I wonder if they'll get Mickey to climb again, too.
That was pretty cool watching him get a foothold in those shoes...

That's a pleasant surprise! Never got to see anyone climb it, and it's very nice to see little things like this that I thought would be gone forever back in action.
    Thanks for the link, Disneyfreak.

I wonder, now that Tink got her new door, if it makes the climbers an easier thing to do?

Funny story - My friend's dad was a Matterhorn climber back in the day at Disneyland. One day, him and his friends decided to act out a "rescue" on the side of the mountain. They then preceded to rescue a friend (who was in no harm) while a crowd of concerned guests watched from bellow. They were having a good laugh after the successful mission when their boss came running up to them screaming that they had to send two people to the hospital when they had heart attacks while watching the rescue mission...
Maybe it was b/c of them they got rid of the climbers in the first place?
