I'd sleep in my car first. Check on trip advisor on the number of people who have checked in and moved even though they couldn't get their back. Not good news. http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserR...alifornia.html
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

The Candy Cane Inn and the Fairfield are the hotels that have customers claim they were bitten by Bed Bugs.

I don't blame you one bit...

Same goes for the Castle Inn. Hobo's won't even stay there.

The Candy Cane Inn info came from a LaughingPlace user, who was upset more in the fact that the staff refused to admit they had a problem, even though multiple members of the family got bitten. It happened a few months ago...

Wow......did not expect a negative response from everyone! Any suggestions on where I can book a room? I go to the parks like every two weeks and I've always booked a room in the resort. Anyway, due to budget concerns, I'm looking for a hotel outside the resort. It doesn't have to be right across the park since I get parking with my AP. Thanks!

If you have a car, and don't really care, go with Priceline or Hotwire.com.

Bids around $50 on 3 and 3 1/2 star places usually get you a room.

Don't forget, many of these hotels charge extra for parking (usually around $15)

If you have a car, go with Priceline or Hotwire.com.

Lots of great hotels of high quality for around $50 a day.

One drawback, most of these hotels charge for parking, around $15 a day.

Pick the highly rated hotels, heck many times the 3 and 4 stars are cheaper than the 2 stars.....

    Re: Parkside Inn & Suites

The Best Western Park Place Inn and Anaheim Inn can usually be had for $75-$125/night. Also try the Carousel Inn and Suites, although the secret's out on that one. I used to always be able to find a room there. Now I can't even get in a month in advance. There's also a Holiday Inn Express.

Now for the hall of shame: Ramada Maingate Saga (Oy, the stories I could tell!), Castle Inn (already mentioned), and Desert Inn and Suites (on the police radar for credit card fraud).

There's a hotel link map which I'm sure somebody will post.
