Was the recent raise for CMs enough?

I now get 33 cents more than I used to before November. But come on, TDA! It's a start, but it still doesn't compare to, say, In-n-out.

It's not quite a free churro with every 8 hour shift, but it's a start!

You sure you didn't just get a raise from your contract and your time with the company?

Well I didn't even know I got the raise until last night. The reason is I rarely look at my paystub. It turns out I got the raise at the beginning of November, 3 weeks ago, and didn't even know about it. And I know it wasn't just me, because I talked to others in my department (actually, I don't know if it could just be my department...) and they all are getting more now than before. And they hired in way after me. Oh, and I'm QSR Foods.

While 33 cents isn't bad per se... I don't think it's going to be enough... when fast food chains are paying their workers more... yeah. Something has to increase in quality, either the pay, or benefits.

Based on what CM's currently make as a starting wage vs what other places are paying their employees I would say that 33 cents isn't a good raise. They need to elevate their hourly wage by at least $1.00 or $2.00 an hour right off the bat (I know that this won't happen though). If CM's were making more money 33cents wouldn't be to bad.

Thumbs down Re: Was the recent raise for CMs enough?

Just checked my paystub...nope, no raise. Even if I did get a raise, it wouldn't help, since raises only apply to my R.O. rate and not my Lead rate. 98% of my shifts are Lead shifts, I haven't felt a raise in 3 years.

I was there for 1.5 years and the only raise I got was on my one year and even then they had just started this new thing where they were starting new hires at $8.20. In the end I was making a whole 4 cents more than new hires and I was working there for a year longer than they were.

Now, let's see, I wonder what kind of raise all those suits in TDA will be getting, hopefully 33 cents as well. lol!!

Naw, but they will be getting extraordinary raises for making life miserable for all of the front line cast members!! Am I right in assuming this.

Don't quote me on this but I think I remember seeing something that said in May of 07 they were going to be raisingthe wages $2.00 more to compete with other companies wages. I don't remember where I read this or when but I think I remember reading it. It was actually part of the reason why I went ahead and decided to work for the mouse. Oh well I could be wrong but whatever.
