Re: Peter Pan's Flight--Best Time to Ride?

Best time we've found is right after the fireworks. If you get yourself to the line that forms over by Mad Hatter at the rope right before they end, you wait 10 minutes for the fire-marshal to give the all clear and the CM's drop the rope. We got on ALL FOUR(4) Fantasyland dark rides in less than 35 minutes TOTAL. Wait for Peter Pan was about 1 minute. Wait for Mr. Toad was 2 minutes. Wait for Snow White was 5 minutes and we waited about 4 for Pinocchio. No joke at all. I've got video somewhere of us basically walking on Peter Pan. It was awesome. Was pure chance that we figured this out. We had gotten of Thunder as the fireworks were coming to an end and made it around the back way to Fantasyland just as the fireworks were ending and the line was forming. We were the 2nd people in line. Needless to say, we've repeated that technique a few times.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

Listen, get to the park first at opening (or among the first), and when the old fashioned car comes around by city hall, it will go right to Fantasyland.
(this does not work with an early entry day)
If you get on that car as soon as the park opens, not only will there be no line, but if you go straight there, you will be the first to ride!
It is a fun way to start the day! Gives you a jump on all of Fantasyland.
The car beats everyone, they have to move out of its way, and it drops you at the castle. It totally works, try it.
Goin around the world...and back to Disneyland!

IMO I go on it at night around dinner time (5:50-7 ish) , thats when i do all the FL rides. I figure all the kids are eating dinner right about that time.

"JESUS!!! That's Cold!" -- Walt Disney's final words.

"You hear people talk about, 'I don't think Walt would like this,' or 'I don't think Walt would like that.' You have no idea what Walt would want! No clue whatsoever! Because the people that worked with him day in and day out didn't know what Walt wanted. Walt didn't know what he wanted 'til he wanted it."

Have you been on the Peter Pan attraction in WDW? I think their version is a lot better. There is more to see of Neverland, as you fly through it, not just above it. The lost boys and Indians are bigger sized than the Disneyland version.
