I've stayed at all 3 numerous times and it's been hit or miss. Mid-week I've been able to get in my room early the majority of the time. Thur, Fri, or Sat I don't believe I've evr made it to the room before 3, even when arriving in the morning. One time our room wasn't ready until 6 pm, at PP, but that's a story for another time.
Any of the on-site hotels will hold your luggage in storage behind the main desk until your check in time. We arrived mid morning and wanted to go to parks so we did our check in and they took our luggage and we went to the parks. Didn't come back till 1am and they had taken our luggage up to our rooms for us (we already had room keys from checking in).
Don't have to pay extra. Just let them know you'll be arriving early and doing that as a courtesy, but you could just show up and do it to.
Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter
Does anyone know if the Grand Californian or any of the Disney hotels offer early check-in? If so, when can you check in? Can it be requested when booking online? Is there an additional fee? Thanks!
Most places, if they have a room available when you arrive, they will allow you to "check in early", but to guarantee that would require guaranteeing that prior guest checked out early. I do know one hotel that will guarantee early checkin, they charge you for an entire night. Then there is no one in the room and you can check in as early as you'd like.
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.
