You have no idea how flipping funny that was..... Seriously, I can't look at that and not laugh. He's so dang funny. Hilarious listening to them call him Roy as he rolled around on the ground imitating Stitch for the baking CMs. I swear the cookie making took twice as long as usual....
Actually you did see us in DCA. We were on the Orange Stinger together. .
I didn't go on it. That's when I got separated from my husband during the freezing hell afternoon at DCA. Apparently he was riding the Orange Stinger instead of meeting me at Screaming. Funny now. Notsomuch, then.
GREAT pictures, fun trip and fabulous report! Isn't DL more fun with friends -- even ones you only see at DL?
Hubby and I keep thinking about driving down (we're 2.5 hours north of you) and he is one of those "my time is worth more than what I save by driving" and I tend to agree, but I keep thinking we could go more often if we didn't have to fly!! And you survived the drive with 3 kids and only 2 driving adults!! I know when Simply Mad drove down in October there were 4 adults in the van so they did the straight shot and took turns. Stopping along the way isn't a bad idea... (ok, I'm back to making plans then!! Maybe I'll get hubby to try driving...and I'll make it for the 2yr meet!)
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!
"Do you remember in kindergarten, how you’d meet a kid,
then 10 seconds later you’d be playing like you were best friends?"
this has to be one of the best trip reports i've read on this site.
you can totally tell how much fun you had, all the joy you experienced. i wish i wasn't such a chicken on sundays when the meets happen (its true - i see the group at C.O.W. all the time on sundays and i'm just too scared to go over). you guys look like such a fun group to be around.
thanks again for sharing your wonderful trip with us.
ps - loved the fact that you said "i'm not going to even try anymore with the names!"
