 | What exactly IS Midway Mania? I've heard a lot about this ride, but nothing detailed. All I hear is about construction and where it will be. Can anyone describe in detail what this ride will be like or about? I know it's something to do with Toy Story.

| Re: What exactly IS Midway Mania? Will be set up as a series of Midway games but involving the Pixar characters. The x-ray gun is a part of it. From what I understand you'll ride in cars vaguely similar to Buzz that can spin, but will seat more people per car. Pass through the various midway games and try to get higher score than your vehicle-mates. Rumored to have some amazing new AA technology as well.

| Re: What exactly IS Midway Mania? Basically, from what I have heard, it is a giant collection of empty rooms. Almost everything will be using this projected technology so the experience can easily change based on reviews/time of year. Sounds like they found a cool idea for an effect, and decided to base an entire attraction around it. I like the idea of being transported inside these midway games, but I would have done it sans Toy Story and more traditional elements with the newer technology used to accentuate the experience. |
