Christmas Day Crowds
This year, my family wants to go to Disneyland on Christmas Day which I'm skeptical about due to last years crowds. But then again, there not celebrating the 50th anniversary this year.
What do you all think? Should we go or stay home this year? (we live in southern California)
P.S. I'm seeing Wicked next year. YAY!!!

I say stay home. The hotels are all completely booked. That's already bad news.

Re: Christmas Day Crowds
There shouldn't be a question... if you can go... you SHOULD go to Disneyland!!
Who cares about the crowds!!??? ;)

Re: Christmas Day Crowds
Yes, go! Crowds don't matter. Do you best with fighting the crowds and riding your favorite attractions.

Re: Christmas Day Crowds
if you listen to these FOOLS and are persuaded to go, i suggest going REALLY REALLY early. and RUN to each Fastpass like theres no tomorrow. Of course, such experience like that takes the fun out.
ahha im kidding about calling them fools though. theyre too enthusiastic for me.
hahaha i kid i kid.

Re: Christmas Day Crowds
call me crazy but.......I personally like to sleep in on christmas morning and play with whatever toys I got or spend some quality time with my family. I don't see how you can have a good time with your family when it's so crowded.

Re: Christmas Day Crowds
Many, MANY years ago, Christmas Day at Disneyland was very quiet. Few people seemed to know or care that the park was open. But nowadays you can expect big crowds.

Re: Christmas Day Crowds
We go each year. We get up, open stockings and gifts, then I take the kids to my ex-in-laws. After about an hour, my oldest daughter can't handle much more family, so we head back and go to Disneyland. We enjoy some quiet time, visit friends who work there, and just have fun! This year, dinner is at Cafe Orleans.

Re: Christmas Day Crowds
I'm there every Christmas. Love it.
You'll find it empty in the morning and then it really starts to get busy in the afternoon.
I love to end Christmas by watching the parade and Fireworks at Disneyland. What a wonderful way to bring the holiday to its conclusion.
Busy, perhaps, but still a warm and sentimental place to be.
