Wink Overheard Funny Conversations at Disneyland

While walking through the security checkpoint my fiance overheard two women talking and this was what they said: "You know I just love using my pass. I just use it and use it till it expires!"

Really? you mean you don't use it AFTER it expires?

Shortly after we came inside the main entrance, Peter Pan was walking around and a little boy asked his mother "Mommy, who's that?" The mom turned to her little boy and replied "That's an elf sweetheart!" Peter Pan must have heard them because he walks by and says "I'm not an elf! I'm Peter Pan!" and keeps on walking.

Anyone else have one to share?

Lol, got to love the GP.

Well, I was in line for Space Mountain and some people were arguing about what to ride. One person suggested Indy. Then the other person said, "They never had an Indiana Jones ride here, its a Magic Mountain."

I found it amusing, yet I wanted to correct them badly.

So I was behind this couple, and they said something funny.

    "Lets go to DCA!"

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary... Impossible is nothing."

What's even funnier is when they call it "California World."

Re: Overheard Funny Conversations at Disneyland

On saturday about 5 funny things like this happened in just a few minutes as i went around to get a churro. Here's 2 of them.

In tomorrowland the garbage can drummers were playing and a little kid carrying a toy green plastic cellphone had it squished into his ear with his hand covering his other ear making a grimace on his face and shouting "what? what?!?!!".. let me state again that it was a plastic green toy cell phone.

While waiting in the churro line in front of the castle, a teenager walked by holding hands with his girlfriend and is just talking out loud to her as they stroll by "Wow, every girl I've gone out with here has liked a different princess."

Me: "Denise, lets go to FutureLand!

    Denise: "TomorrowLand...."

Me: "yeah, that's what I said"

    Denise: "You said FutureLand"

    Me: "Oh? I did....? WTF"

While waiting at the security checkpoint, the line was being held up because a guest had to bring all their earthly possessions through the checkpoint. That's when a woman in front of me said aloud "Stupid Terrorists!" and there was laughter and applause.

We were at disneyland a few weeks back on a day where there were all the miss jr teens (or some beauty pagent) visiting the park. We happened to hit pirates when most of them were in line also, and we overheard a couple of moms talking...

mom 1: so what is this ride

mom 2: i've never been on it, but i've heard it's really cool...it's where they filmed the movie pirates of the carribean.

i about died laughing...I so wanted to correct them but i held my tongue.

    Argh! the ignorance!

I was on Splash and after the get wet bit at the bottom of the drop someone squeeled "My hair! May hair! May beautiful hair!"

(nb. This may have actually been me being silly, but I won't admit to it.)
    Disney FAQ#275: What is DCA?
DCA stands for Disney Construction Area. All the Cast Members are themed with hard hats and steel toed boots.

    About Peter Pan Elf,

another example of why I don't think it matters if they have characters in the parks that are popular/recognizable or not. There will always be a different level of intelligence among the public. I'm not saying intelligence as if they are dumb. I'm saying it like they just know more about one particular thing than something else... like academics and sports...
