    Ride Statistics and facts

    I found some interesting information on the different rides. I thought I'd post them here for your learning pleasure I will start with 5 rides, and if you want more, I will take the time to post ALL the rides statistics and facts.

    Matterhorn:
    • Grand Opening: June 14, 1959
    • Designers: WED Enterprises, Arrow Dynamics
    • Mountain Height: 147'
    • Track Height: 80'
    • Length: A) 2,037 feet (620.8 m) B) 2,134 feet (650.4 m)
    • Scale to real Matterhorn: 1/100th

    For those who request I post them all, I'll make a seporate thread later tonight to incorporate all the different ride stats. It will be pretty long, so be warned I'll do it in order by land (Tomorrowland, Adventureland, etc.)

    Also, I think the POTC head count has changed overall since the Sparrowization.

    And if necessary, the brakes can stop a fully loaded log coming off the drop at 40 mph in 1.4 seconds.
