Flora and Fauna in Rivers Of America!

I know I have seen waterfowl and of course Disney planted fauna around the Rivers Of America but I am not sure if there are fish in the said waters!

I wonder if Disneyland stocked the Rivers of American with fish for the added touch of realism. I do recall seeing something swimming around in the river and I don't mean humans!

There definitely are fish in that stagnant pond area as you cross over from Fantasyland into the edge of Frontierland! The water is so dark it is hard to tell what lives in them waters!

I dont think they do but natually probably Minos and such live in the waters. Frogs, Tadpoles, and other things probably do.

At one time they did stock the river right? So maybe lefts overs from that are still there!

I thought I had read in years past that the river was stocked with something and they actually let people fish from TSI for the more exclusive Tom Sawyer adventure! Cannot confirm this since I was not alive at the time!

Is this haunted room actually stretching? Or is it the four beers you had at DCA, hmmm?

they used to back in the day..but nobody figured out what guests were going to do with the fish the rest of the day...you would not want to take a dead fish with you on the attractions!!!!!

There are fish in the River. I saw half of a rather large fish on the banks of TSI just this past summer. I don't know how many of them there are, but there are some fish swimming around there.

    Yes, very smelly.

It's better that the fish don't live there.

Plus, imagine what it would be like to drain the rivers...they wouldn't be able to. If they were willing to kill all the fishies, there would be tons of them lying dead in the empty water space. Gross.
