The Skyway - Which Direction Did You Like Most?

With the recent YouTube thread showing a video of the Skyway, I was wondering which direction everybody liked most?

For me personally I always loved going from Tomorrowland into Fantasyland the best. It was always so cool going into that Swiss styled loading dock! Plus, the view of everything was so much cooler.

I have to agree, I enjoyed the Tomorrowland to Fantasyland trip the best ... even though I was scared of heights.

I miss the Skyway. I enjoy them equally.

Between the two, I enjoyed seeing Tomorrowlands "World of Motion" moveing and changing.

Yeah, I don't remember much about riding it either. What's odd, though, is that I clearly remember loading and unloading in the Fantasyland dock. But when it comes to the Tomorrowland loading and unloading dock my mind draws a complete blank. I don't even remember where the loading area was located, nor where the queue line was for the Tomorrowland station.

    Weird, huh?

I really liked both directions equally, but I remember that most of the time I rode in it, we went from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland. I don't know why. We just did.

I remember going from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland all the time. I loved it. But I would have loved to go the opposite direction now. The moving vehicles under you make for an exciting trip. The most exciting part was always going through the Matterhorn. So that could be done both directions.

Back or forth, north or south, east or west, didn't matter to me.

    I enjoyed it any-which way.

I'm also another one who wishes it was back.

Re: The Skyway - Which Direction Did You Like Most?

I liked both directions... Going through the Mattahorn was the best part imho...

I still think the murals on the existing Fantasyland Port are top notch...

It was pretty conveniant going from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland to get to the DLRR Tomorrowland Station... and then through the diaramas to the front of the park...

As I recall, Fantasyland didn't have a DLRR Station durring the time the Skyway was in operation.

Liked both equally, but, really enjoyed getting on in Fantasyland. The line was always too long in Tomorrowland.

Quick trivia question, what saying from Alice in Wonderland was written over the loading area in Fantasyland?

Oh darn, definately would have to look that up!

I loved it from either direction. It was always so breathtaking. I remember sitting in one when I was just tall enough to look out. The only thing above the side was my head. I'll never forget that. I was flying! I was too young to ride the Matterhorn, but by golly, I could fly through it.

From Fantasyland to Tomorrowland at night. The station was SO COOL, it look like something right out of sci-fi, with that superbright lighting and the huge wheels spinning the cable in and back out. I really miss that attraction
    IMO - YMMV - FYIGM
