I don't ride that coaster because of the loop so now I have even more reason not to...Seeing how easy it comes apart makes me kind of nervous.....
Screamin isn't unique like this... when they were building Tatsu at Magic Mountain, the Revolution was equally taken apart... it just wan't the loop, that's all. And as already previously mentioned, there are lots of "portable" coasters touring all the fair/carnival circuits that are taken apart every few weeks and have spotless operating records.
I went to the park today and was shocked when I went over to ride Screamin and there was no loop. As soon as I got home I looked on here to see if anyone knew what was going on. I did get a couple of good pictures however. So here is one of them.
Ummm..., were we not... supposed to? I could've sworn they were attractions. Let me guess, you probably call them something stupid like every other California Adventure hater.
Yes, because apparently, it was a better "attraction" as a parking lot. Even though there was nothing to do except leave your car there and take the tram. Exciting. DCA, with it's rides, shows, and everything else pales in comparison with the excitement that is...THE DISNEYLAND PARKING LOT.
Hmm...I wonder what is going on! I may be wrong on this, but if memory serves me from high school, the most G forces exerted on a person is at the entrance and exit to the loop, about where the lower platforms are on the picture posted by Tigger37. I am VERY curious as to what is going on!
Also, if you look at pictures taken by others, the straps are not as tight as in the picture taken by Tigger37. This is some pretty interesting stuff going on here. It really makes me wish I was within driving distances to DL.
