Took an hour before driving back to the office and strolled, no, meandered, through Downtown Disney, Disneyland, California Adventure, and the Grand Californian before starting work this morning.
I don't remember seeing the pointsettias in Downtown Disney, but since I'm usually there at night, I might not have noticed them:
Heading into Disneyland, some familiar sites greeted my eyes:
I see they've added pointsettias around, but not in, the hub also:
The swans were out:
And in Fantasyland, all the characters were riding Dumbo:
I caught a little bit of the Jedi Academy in Tomorrowland:
And then off to Adventureland!
Somehow I did an extended tour of the Jungle Cruise. Maybe it's because it's one of my favorite rides:
It's okay to look at this next picture -- all the elephants have their trunks on:
I think the monkey with the gun is frustrated because he can't get his jeep to turn over:
At least he's not going bananas:
See anything gnu here?
If you're a lion eating a zebra, it's always the same thing... whitemeat, darkmeat, whitemeat, darkmeat...
Look! Lawyers! I mean vultures!
I hope these guys get the point in the end:
Some of the local arts and crafts.... that's Art on the top, and crafts underneath him:
And it's always good to see Trader Sam (Trader Joe's brother):
I want to give thanks to a great skipper, Jake:
Off to California Adventure! I posted my "missing loop" photos earlier, but here's a few from the park:
By the Christmas Tree, the Delta Daddios from New Orleans Square in Disneyland were performing for a group of, oh, I'd say five people. They sure are good, though:
Grizzly River Rapids was not operating - with people stuck at all areas of the ride. Not sure what was going wrong:
Over by the Golden Vineyard, there were some grapes withering... I mean "turning into raisins" on the vine, and yet some flowers blooming all around:
Want to know the best restaurant in Downtown Disney? Two words:
Even in the daytime, the fire is still going behind the Christmas tree, and it looks beautiful. This lobby is very impressive:
Bye for now!
