    Fantasyland- Time for Another Makeover?

I realized that Fantasyland looks like it is ready for another makeover, kind of like what happend in 1983. I personally think we should do away with some of the less popular attractions, and expand other ones, like Peter Pan's flight.

    What do you guys think?

I don't think its due for a makeover just yet, maybe a good refurb of all the rides in the park could be done. (Repainting, New Lighting and stuff)

Less popular attractions in Fantasyland? What are those? There are always lines for all the rides there. Shorter ones for Snow White and Pinocchio but theres always a flow of people going on them.

what constitutes less popular cuz i happen to like all of the rides? (except pinocchio-please feel free to get rid of it-though that is only my personal opinion and thus holds no weight whatsoever )
    I'd rather be at Disneyland

Although I do enjoy some of the fantasyland rides on occasion I don't think they need to be longers. They are way to loud to be in them for any length of time. The last time I went on peter pan it gave me a headache.

My least favorites are snow whit and pinnochio, but changing those will not make peter pan longer..

I could see Snow White being redone into something little more organized?

Can't get rid of Pinocchio my husband would be upset!

The line is always pretty long for that, and my kids always want to go on it. Id say its still pretty popular.

I also think it's time to change the theming of Fantasyland from a European Village to a little more like the storybook world that is kind of like Disneyland Paris's Fantasyland.

i like it the way it is. i don't really want a carbon-copy of another disney park's fantasyland. each fantasyland is unique for each park and i like it that way. now, if we're talking some paint and some new lighting, that's a different story!
    I'd rather be at Disneyland

Re: Fantasyland- Time for Another Makeover?

I adore Fantasyland - - KEEP IT ALL - - only additions, restorations and refurbs for me, thanks. (Casey Jr is one of my favorite rides!)

But these two attractions need to return:

    Skyway to Tomorrowland
Captain Hook's Pirate Ship & Skull Rock

...and the Fantasyland Theatre/Videopolis and Motor Boat Cruise areas need to go entirely, replaced by an addition ultilizing that space properly: call it Fantasyland II with:

Pooh's Honey Hunt (as at Tokyo)
Voyage of the The Little Mermaid (as on the DVD)
    Cinderella's Coach Meet & Greet
    Belle's Bookshop
Aladdin Magic Carpet Ride (simulator not spinner)

and/or (my favorite E Ticket idea):

Forbidden Mountain (Spider-Man like escape from Maleficent's dungeon to battle fire-breathing dragon)

But, above all, KEEP what's there now!

My kids would flip.....they love Casey Jr. Me...personally I can take it or leave it. I love everything in Fantasyland.....just hate the long line for Peter Pan...that's the only down side.
