It was 40 years ago today that Walt Disney passed away at the age of 65. He would have been 105 today if he had lived, and if that had happened, Disneyland and the rest of the WD Co. would be in much better shape! I wonder what Walt would say if he knew the condition of his empire today???

I remembered this last night when I was watching a bit of the Christmas parade right in front of Walt's apartment over the Fire Station and saw the little Christmas tree in front of his window.

Whenever I see Mickey Mouse, I think of Walt.
Ah...if only they could play Remember fireworks tonight instead of the Holiday ones. I always did get a little emotional watching those with the Partners statue in front of me, especially when they played Walt's speech with Tinker Bell flying over the castle.
I'll be at Disneyland today. And force my family to take a moment of silence :(
