    Hollywood1939's 12/17 TR w/photos (very heavy)

Well I didn't get to make it to the meet as I was late getting to the park. I called ahead to Sam and was told that everyone was at Whitewater Snacks. So, where else would I go?

On the way from the tram:

A nice looking carving in the Grand Californian Hotel Lobby:

When I got there I saw some familiar faces and some new ones that I have never met like akfandisney, AbomonableSnowman1, Princess Buttercup and her husband, Matt Hamand and his family, almandot and others (sorry if I missed you, pm me if you want).

    Familiar faces with PB's husband:

Fishy is reading to Adam, Matt's son.

After Whitewater, it was decided to go ride Monsters Inc. We (Dustysage, Fishbulb, Sam, almandot, NeverNeverland, Claribella and her son, Matt Hamand and family, PB and her husband, Villain's Fan, Grumpy4, Charles, myself and some others, again I'm sorry! I'm terrible with names!)took the DCA/Grand Californian entrance:

I wonder why Disney thinks that Californians hang out at the beach during December it's cold here too.

    Yay! We made it!

    In the queue:

    Who's watching who...

    Roz doesn't like cameras.

PB was surprising us with taking pics in her hiding spot.

After that we decided to ride ToT. On the way the 'movie set' has been taken down near the bathrooms.

    The tower is beckoning...

    A lamp.

    PB = Unabomber?

We got an elevator just to ourselves (as there were 18 of us) and there was a special visitor as BFJen listened to the ride through my cellphone.

Now is time for our ToT photo. Ready?

Yeah apparantely we were being a little too goofy.

After we met up with Matt's wife as she was with her son and Claribella's son.

    Grr..

After this Dusty and Fishy had to leave as they had some business to attend to...but they will be back.

We decided to go over to DLR as some of us have not ridden Matterhorn since it opened back up.

    Slow day today.

On the way, the Omnibus sign.

The Dapper Dan's band was strolling through as a parade was about to begin.

    Re: Hollywood1939's 12/17 TR w/photos (very heavy)

The Matterhorn, notice any changes? I did.

    Group picture!

Lots of paint added, I liked it.

They had the lights on so when you go to the top, you could see into the structure...weird.

    Some shots on the ride.

After the Matterhorn we went to Casey Jr. I like this ride.

    The old ticket booth.

After we went to the carousel. Mr. Toad's, one of my favorite rides at DLR.

On Pinocchio, I took this because I've never noticed it.

    Can you do it?

I like how on Peter Pan the croc is always following the ship...

After that we decided to go to the Jungle Cruise.

    On the way.

    Details, while waiting in line.

Eager CM's ready to help out the guests.

After, mostly everyone went to ride Pirates, Claribella, her son, AS1 and I decided to get some food.

The Mark Twain docked while the Columbia is running? Odd, but ok.

    I hope they keep this.

    To be continued..

We met up with the others again, said goodbye to AS1 as he had to go, nice kid. We then went over to Pooh.

Only good pic I got on the ride as I did not use flash.

Dusty, I still can't figure it out.

We then went to Pooh Corner for some sweets.

Around this time Fishbulb called me and said that they (Dusty, him and their neighbor Gaye, who happened to be a very nice woman) would like to meet up in a little bit. I said my goodbyes to the Hamands, Claribella and her son and PB and her family as NeverNeverland and I went to meet up with Sam and almandot. They had Space Mountain fastpasses so we waited for them.

After that we went on Matterhorn, because I love Matterhorn at night. There was no line so we did both the A side and B side.

    On the way.

My best attempt to get the Wells Expedition crate:

    After the ride.

At this time we met back up with Villains Fan and Charles, we told them that we would be meeting up with Dusty and Fishy at IASWH. They had just gotten off the ride but they were nice enough to go again, thanks guys!

Why is this rock so important?

There was a parade going on..

We met up with the guys and their neighbor and we hopped onto the ride as there was no line due to the parade.

After we went to ToonTown to see the decorations, I loved it.

    I liked the Post Office.

    Anybody else miss the Trolley?

When we were walking back, IASW was doing it's little holiday show, it's good stuff.

Villains Fan loves the dome lighting on the trees on Big Thunder Ranch.

We then went to BTMRR. We had a little fun with pictures.

After, we went to HMH. It's sad that I now know the pre-show for this too.

We then said our good byes to Charles, Sam, Villains Fan and almandot as they had to go home or save some spots for the fireworks. Five of us remained as we went to PotC.

Hey look! A certain knife is back at the entrance!

As the day was winding down we decided to go home.

Before we left, we went into La Brea as some needed some hot chocolate and some cookies, thanks again Dusty!

We then took a tram back to our cars.

It was great meeting you all and telling stories. This was a great trip to DLR and I love the meets. I can't wait to do this again as it's so much fun. Thanks again to Dusty, Fishbulb, NeverNeverland, PB and family, Matt Hamand and family, Sam, almandot, AS1, Villains Fan, Claribella and her son, Grumpy4, judimouse, Dark Beer and everyone else I met for the fun. Today was my last day off until Christmas, but it was well spent.

But now it is time for....

    THE END

Can you guess who it is?

I'm so sorry we missed seeing all of you today.

Great report, Jack. 'bout time somebody used a shot of the Fishman's posterior as the last shot.

    Regards to all.
