TRIP REPORT 1!!!!

Every year, on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, my gal pals and I have our own lil trip to the DLR to see the decorations and such. Sadly, it's hard times so this year only dontbecheekin and I could go. But that was groovy 'cuz we hadn't done DL by ourselves in ages.
Ok, on to the report!
I picked up dbc and we stopped at the Disney Warehouse. Nothing good. As usual.I bought a pin.
We entered the park Timon-style and got a pretty good parking spot. Light wait for the trams.

First ride of the day!
YAY MAIN STREET STATION!
Walking through the tunnel what did we see? Why a lady handing out Dream ears! YAY our dreams came true! But not the dreams of the mgmt. guy who told me I had to wear them. I refused, and he wasn't happy. I was already wearing ears, dude. But dbc wore hers.
Yay, very tall, fairly gaudy Christmas tree.
I couldn't even take a pic of the castle, it looks so gaudy!! The decorations look so out of place. It needs the white garland and pastel balls like IASW has.
This is where the memory fails, and I have no clue what we rode. Pirates, HMH... the usual. We stumbled into NOS. Love these decorations.
I think we rode BTMRR before hitting the meet?
No pics 'cuz I always feel strange at the meets anyway and I take really bad candid photos. like BAD photos.
We then headed to DCA.
I like how they theme the sun thing area, though there's so much it's a bit of overkill.
Surfboards for the reindeer and Disney characters are a nice touch.
Even Santa has a surfboard!
Since I didn't plan out the trip (shockingly) we totally missed our traditional ToonTown pics w/Goofy and Pluto as well as with the Pooh gang. Luckily, we saw Pluto here so T was happy!
Had to see the tree. Not as gaudy as DL's and it fits in better here.
We probably got Soarin FPs (because I know we had PRIME seats... front row center!) then we did Monsters and ToT!

Dusk was falling as we went back to Disneyland.
I have to repost this because i look fabulous. If I had only been able to take my pic on the "L" Goofy wouldn't have been hurt

First time I'd seen the signs they use after Fireworks - though I don't remember them actually using them after Fireworks?
Castle looks loads better that night.
Somehow we ended up at IASW.
So pretty.

The parade was going on as we left IASW.
We didn't get to see the parade that day, but luckily we saw it next time. (But I get ahead of myself!)
Headed down Big Thunder Trail to Pooh and the candy store. Peppermint fudge for me. It was okay.
Here's the tree for ya, Villans Fan. Oh last night's memories!
Settled in at the end of Main St. with hot dogs from Coke Corner (my fave way to watch the fireworks) where we had a fine time watching the two guys in front of us make out. Which was very lovely for awhile. Then they kept making out and groping each other... At one point T. turned to me and said "That's not his hands in his (back) pockets." Yeah, it got to be a bit much for a family friendly park. Turns out they were drunk, so... well, some us are touchy feely drinks
Anyway... Fireworks were all right. Seemed so short. Not really as repeatable as the 50th ones were.
SNOW!!!
One last HMH ride and we left.

(BTW my temporary cap came out during dinner at Taste Pilots! Luckily I already had a dentist appt. 2 days later)
I love the big turn around the Timon trams do.
BTW it was freezing that night.

I had 3 of my silver caps replaced with Porceliens (sp?) back in 2005 and those temp caps KEPT coming off to! The pain was tremendous as even wind from talking hurt my mouth. So I’m surprised you weren’t in lots of pain!

That was the second time the temp had come out - no pain, not from the wind or eating or anything. It was actually fun, I had a lisp and could put a straw through there and everything. I have quite a few porcelain caps (and so many more in the future, joy) now, but that's the first time one has come off. It's still a temp, but the dr. did it diffrently this time so now it's more firm, thankfully.
