claribella's 12/23 Night Report-Electrical Parade, Fireworks (SUPER pic heavy BEWARE)

I love how most of my trips are spur of the moment...driving down the 57 from my grandmother's house...and then just say " oh well we are so close...off to Disneyland we go!"

We got there around 6:30 and ended up parking on Minnie. View from there:



Then we were off to DCA and the Tower:









The line was absolutely null and void...







So now I can remember who gets loaded where...




My friend wanted to purchase something in the gift shop so I looked around...







This CM kept getting into all my pictures...he was cracking me up!






And this was stratigically placed on the counter behind the registers...





Then it was onto Monsters Inc. where there was no line...



And then Muppets 3-D but we just missed the show and didn't want to wait.





We felt like a little snack so we visited the Mission Tortilla....yum!
















Hmmm....now which way to go...

Part 2:


So prettiful!






We decided Mulholland Madness because I just LOVE that carsick feeling!





CM's were really being very humorous tonight...
















the it was ELECTRICAL PARADE TIME!!!

Electrical Parade Continued....

Then it was....all done I love this parade....



We followed it back down the route....

We decided to cut through the back









and ran into the Parade again!



Then it was onto Disneyland and we arrived onto Main Street just in time for the fireworks...



















And snow!.....or rather Snoap!

Then it was off to see the band at Tomorrowland Terrace. They were called Knyght Ryder and were VERY good!







He had funny stickers on his guitar...



Then it was Matterhorn....which in my opinion seems a wee bit faster....



Space Mountain...



Someone lost their ballloon...




A visit to the restroom....



Then home....some shots on the way out.

Great pictures. I love seeing Electrical Parade pictures, I miss seeing the parade so much and these act as a good surrogate since mine got closed in film hell thanks to my camera

And you got video of my favorite part, Pete's Dragon Definitely a different Pete then I saw, I think it was a girl playing Pete when I saw it, which I kind of liked better because of the younger voice.

It has been WAY too long since I've seen that parade! I'm talking back before DCA and Indy! I go once a week and I can't find myself anywhere near DCA when that parade happens. Thanks for the video! The lighting looks majorly upgraded since I last saw it some 15 years ago or so!

Great pics Clara ! Say, is that soap foam? I thought they had snow flakes, but the video looked like foam chunks coming down. so its foam, not flakes? I would love to see that in person!
