Almost all the "In Park" footge is from Disneyland (Haunted Mansion, Main Street Train Station), and then it's Disneyland's hub with the Magic Kingdom Castle. What the heck! It is NOT one park! In the words of Charlie Brown, Arrrgh!
Thank goodness for Tivo. It was a really nice show.

ORWEN: Us Cauldron girls know the parade specials are just a bunch of commercials to tempt people to spend money by taking their vacations to the parks. But it would still be nice if they showed some scenes with Uncle Walt from the past--to make it all more special.
ORDDU: We really don't care about all these young diva's trying to promote their singing careers all over the place, either. They all just block out the true meaning of Christmas--whereas a more nostalgic approach with people--such as Julie Andrews--would be a lot more appealing to have around.
I can't believe how some of you viewed this coverage and all you are concerned about is a horitcultre guy not dressed in proper costume.
My problem with this is that it was not called the Disneyland/WDW Christmas Day Parade, as this thread suggests. Rather, it was called the "Walt Disney World Christams Day Parade."
This would be just fine if they only had coverage from Walt Disney World, but they also had segments from Disneyland. Imagine if someone from Iowa or someplace tunes it at the wrong time and sees them standing in front of the Matterhorn. And then they book a trip to Walt Disney World thinking they can go on the Matterhorn there.
They should have gone with their current marketing trip they're on right now and should have called it the "Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade".
PS. Sorry for the grumpiness. I am at work now after a 4 day weekend!
I was disapointed about the "sneak peak" for the FNSV ride. They could have showed alot more then the same concept arts over and over. They should of had a quick pan of the construction site. The Seagulls were neat though, the 3 seconds of the seagulls.
I agree. The seagull, as neat as they are, just didn't fill my appitite. I want more. That ride is a technological breakthrough. I would have loved to see some of the construction site and one quick show scene. and interview an imagionear that could have explained the new technology they will be using. Explain to the audiance that doesn't know that this ride is underwater.... and so forth. Does that make sence or am I rambling... I know what I mean and that's all that matters.
