It's Just me, Jenn.

We can never have enough of train pics!
This has been a Filmways presentation dahling.
So pretty!
No words, My tears won't make any room for more,
And it don't hurt, like anything I've ever felt before, this is
No broken heart,
No familiar scars,
This territory goes uncharted...
Ooooh! It's Purdy! Can't wait to ride!!!
FYI the last few pics (the train with the Yellow Caboose) is not the ward Kimball at all, but the Marie E. Pixar's John Lasseter purchased it from Ollie Johnson (one of Walt's Original 9 Old Men) last week and hosted a special event where it was ran around the Disneyland track several times.

Gotta love Big Joe!
Thanks for sharing. Can't wait for a ride around Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom!
Steve,
I've ALWAYS wanted accurate model trains of the Disneyland Railroad. What would be required for something like that to happen? I'm sure there are many, many of us who would love these.
Let me assure you, speedescout, you are definitely NOT alone. Unfortunately, the costs associated with making completely accurate models is prohibitive. In the meantime, we will have to accept models made from a manufacturer's stock models, like the N-scale E.P. Ripley coming soon which is based on Bachmann's stock model of UP 119, with a diferent paint job.Originally Posted by speederscout
If you model large scale, things are looking better. Next year, plans are to release a G scale C.K. Holliday. While the model will be based on Hartland Model's stock 4-4-0, the proportions of that engine are far closer to the real thing, and it's hoped custom detail parts will be made. (this year, they're working on a gorgeous version of WDW RR No. 1, Walter E. Disney). After that, we can hope for a E.P. Ripley as well.
If you have the bucks, you can buy the current LGB 2-4-4 Forney, which as been semi-accurately painted into a version of the Fred Gurely. Since this engine, again, is a stock model, significant differences between the real engine and the model exist. Significant differences.
Too Cool to see those locs!
Robert
Very Cool.... Love the trains!
