Disneyland birthday trip for a 20-year-old

I'm in a dilemma. I'm turning 20 next month and am planning a birthday Disneyland trip for the 20th.

I really have no idea what to do. As of now it will just be myself and my boyfriend going, and I want to make the trip fun, special and different from what I've done in the past, but I really don't know what would be the best options.

I know that for either lunch or dinner I will be going to the Blue Bayou (I haven't had one of their actual meals since the updates, so I'm very excited about that). I want to do one other thing, but I'm not sure what's the best idea.

I don't want to do the Fantasmic! dessert considering that it costs 70 dollars a person (I think that's ridiculous and I don't love Fantasmic! that much lol).

What would you guys suggest? I don't want to do a super-kiddie thing, but something more adult-oriented.

    Thanks!

    I second this.

Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour is great. Fantasmic! is $59 per person, but I do't think it will be happening while you are there. I *think*, if I understood correctly, it is going down during the start of rehab. of TSI.
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

    Make reservations at Blue Bayou.
    Nightime Fantasmic Viewing.
    Get Preferred Seating.
    Stay at a resort hotel.

It's also nearly impossible to get tickets for the Fantasmic buffet up on the Balcony and the river seats don't seem like they should be the same price to me since there's abig difference between the two locations in my opinion.

We took the holiday tour on our last trip and loved it. My favorite part was that we got front row seats in chairs at the beginning of the parade!
