^I'm glad they are only keeping this for a limited time, as I highly prefer Giacchino's work on SM and Hoey's work on Screamin'.

Interestingly enough, they picked two of my favorite RHCP songs, so I actually think this is great, assuming we get the original works back!

Sounds like the same Light show as last year's Rockin' SM during Grad Nights, just with a new sound track.

And Screamin' is only gettting a new soundtrack, nothing else. So will the sound system work better than the current 50/50 chance of getting a train whose sound system is working???

Honestly, this is horrible news. I go to Disneyland to get away from things like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and now apparently traveling into space is somehow related to listening to bad top 40 rock music?

Really, I think that this is one of the worst decisions they've made at the park in a long time, and I'm not exaggerating. Most things I will give them the benefit of the doubt on, since a lot of people are too quick to go "Well, they're changing something, time to cut up my AP and throw away all of my pins." I usually don't mind changes Imagineering makes... change is good, Walt said so himself. In this case though I am positive the changed will be horrible. I can't see there being anything redeeming about this. Taking Space Mountain, which is fun because it's in the dark and kind of like outer space, making it bright and adding a song from 1989. Whose idea was this?

This really does sound like a trainwreck. Fortunately my schedule only allows me to go once during the Rockin' period so I'm not too upset. If they EVER make permanent decisions like this I'm going to freak out though.

I don't see any difference between this and the 60's when Disneyland promoted the Osmonds. Maybe they should play Donnie and Marie to satisfy some of the purists?

I don't mind the band so much, but the "dancing rock fans" effect sounds super lame.

Oh god no This is horrible. I like red hot chili peppers but those songs sound horrible for these rides. Higher Ground sounds like what they'd put in Rock'n'roller coaster you'll just be going through the ride with some relatively tame rock music blasting behind you. Hoobastanks really went well with the turns and moves of the ride I thought.

Around the World has a cool intro that would be nice for the launch and beginning but then it goes into a single soft guitar beat with a light drum backing and then a slow chorus. They'd be better off just mixing chili peppers songs together to keep the action going.

Both of these songs sounds like you'll just be going along the same ride but with a mellowing rock song playing behind you but since technically they're "rock" songs, it's a rockin experience. The addition of music in the first place back in 98/99 enhanced the experience of the ride, and at least hoobastank's kept the thrill of the ride. We need something with a heavier beat I'm not happy about this news.

OMG RIGHT ON!!! This kicks A$$. I love TRHCP. ive been a fan since the 90s. this is sooo cool! their music is the best!!! cant wait!!!! wonder if they will be in the park to rides both costers???
