Offical Disneyland Resort Video Podcast #5 Released

The Official Resort Video Podcast #5 has now been released and ready for downloading, and all I have to say is.... it was a very good one! I enjoyed watching people win some of the big prizes.

I liked this one. It was good to see the winner be a little generous with his prize too.

However, I used to enjoy the audio format of the podcast. I hope that the video doesn't become a permanent thing, like the WDW podcast.

In our own special way, we are ALL potential winners.

I'm sure it has something to do with the fine print in the conditions. If a guest doesn't meet something or other, the "potential winner" expression probably gets Disney out of any contractual obligation to supply the guest with the goods.

If you visit the Disney Parks site, there are a whole lot of rules concerning eligibility and so forth:

Most of these use the terminology "potential winner". It is a long list of conditions, but it would seem that a potential winner only becomes a winner when they certify that they're eligible. As such, that is probably why they get escorted to a room rather than just walking up to them and saying "Here you go, redeem this at World of Disney" or whatever.
