That picture brings back so many memories of leaving the park for the day and that beautifully lit Matterhorn is the last thing I see...

    Thanks!

thanks for that pic, I" ve never been to DL, and for some reason i always thought the matterhorn would be on the other side of the castle. I guess I compare it with the location of splash mountain in WDW. its a great pic, i would love to share mine but i haven't figured out how yet. this is my first post or reply.

I agree with everyone else - great shot. Do you recall what your settings were for the shot.

For others out there - you can get some very inexpensive tripods and small too. I have one that can fit into my pocket - great for placing on trash cans and the like.

There are also suction cup tripods - pretty interesting. And I have seen C-Clamp type ones that you could attach to a railing.

One other tidbit - use your camera's timer. This way you can trigger the shutter but have time to ermove your hands and not cause shake.

I will give you the reader's digest answer. If you need anything expounded on please let me know.

Step 1 - Load your picture into some Photo Gallery to host the picture.

1 - Go to the picture in whatever gallery. You should see thumbnails of your pictures. Click on the picture you want to share. It is now 'full sized' on your screen.

2 - Right Click on the image. Choose the bottom option PROPERTIES

3 - While looking at the Properties screen you will see something dead center called the ADDRESS. It looks like a web address. Highlight the entire address including the http:// portion. Once the whole address is highlighted press ctrl-c to copy that address to computer memnory.

4 - Now go back to the thread where you want to post this picture. YOu insert the image with the following command. However, please note I am using the { when in fact you will want to use [

    {img}THE_ADDRESS_YOU_COPIED_FROM_STEP_3{/img}

You will substitute [ and ] for the { and } used above. I had to use the { or else I couldn't show you.

    I hope that helps.

An avatar picture must be smaller then 150 x 150 (149x149 or smaller) AND it has to be smaller then 64k.

Once you have a pic that meets that requirement then you need to go to the USER CP and then click on EDIT AVATAR.

From there you can browse to find the picture on your harddrive and load it up.

Fairly simple - just getting the image to qualify is the tough part.

    Looks like it worked.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...
