Breaking in a new camera at DL

So I went tonight to DLR for a little bit because I got a new SLR camera and wanted to try it out a bit. I called Sam as he was supposed to meet me later.

I got into the park and noticed that the crowds were pretty low in Main Street. I say to myself, wow, must not be that busy, wrong...

I managed to find my way into Frontierland and got some shots of Mark Twain as I love taking pics of it at this time of day.

After that I hopped on PotC.

The CM didn't like my Dodger jacket (he told me to throw myself overboard) but he did like that I wasn't using flash.

We got stuck for a little bit right at the Davey Jones fog scene. It was annoying cause he only says 3 things and then it's looped. So we heard that for about 15 minutes.
It was bumper to bumper from the ship battle scene all the way to the lift.

Right then they were testing for Fantasmic. Here's the fog.

After that I decided to go over to the Matterhorn. I have more pics here, but they're raw and I need to convert them.

So I got in line and I pondered what this sign meant.

After the Fantasyland side right I gots a pic of Alice in Wonderland. Good ride, long wait.

After this I met Sam and we went to DCA for some food. On the way I got the awesome Tomorrowland Terrace logo.

We got into DCA ate and then went to Screamin. We heard the music from the rides playing so we were eager to ride. Unfortunately the first one (the Blue train) didn't have sound so we rode it again and, for the first time I actually heard it. Good song I say.

After we went to Monster's Inc. On the way there is this fountain. I like the blue shadowing on the back, but I didn't think people would want to see Mickey's butt in bronze. Turned out better than I thought it would.

    On Monster's

After for my sn namesake we rode tower. Good stuff.

After this we went back over to Disneyland as Fireworks had ended. We then rode Pooh so we could 'critque.'

After it was time for a ride on HMH. No lines due to Fantasmic!

When we got off HMH the end of Fantasmic! was coming up so I hurried to take some pics of the Mark Twain.

Then for our last ride was Indy. Good stuff again.

So from all this I found that I LOVE my new camera. I only had to use flash once in these pictures. Can anyone spot it? Also, thank you Sam for coming along and hanging out with me, as well as sharing stories.

Awesome pictures. What settings did you use for the camera and was a tripod involved?

No tripod and mostly used with the night mode since I was there at most of the night. For the rides, I used another (sorry forgot the title) but it's for objects that are moving.

Wow I'm not camera savy (can't really spot the picture you used flash for) but those pictures came out awesome and I think its safe to say it problem cost a pretty penny but either way with those results its worth every cent! Again great shots the one of the teasure room and the fogged up ROA are beautiful!!

To kill two birds with one stone, you used flash on the picture of flag of Vuad, one of the Cantons of Switzerland, which actully lies just north west of the Canton of Valais, which is where the real Matterhorn is in Switerland...
