Okeydokeys. I think I'll give Mickey and Friends a shot, and if that doens't work, make my way to Pumbaa.

Re: New Year's Eve 2007 - News and Running Report Thread

ok. posted this as it's own thread, but got the suggestion to post it here..

would someone at the park today be willing/able to pick up 2 extra maps from each park? i'm putting together a scrapbook, and they'd be awesome to have. i could pay for postage, or if you'll be there still on the 3rd, we could just meet and that would save on postage.

    thanks in advance!

To avoid crowds, we've set up shop at the old Motorboat Cruise dock and are playing Mickey Mouse Monopoly!

Dang... looks like I won't be able to make it, with parking being that crazy. Since I was only going to go for an hour around 6pm, I was going to park in DTD, but due to Goo Goo Dolls (which I'm seriously bummed about not getting tickets for!!) I guess that's a wash too. Gah...

Sorry, guys! Looks like I won't be able to join you for a drink at the Cove Bar! See you the next time I get a sunday off...

Julie, I must find time to give you your Christmas present! If I don't before your trip, have a safe flight and enjoy yourselves! ^_^

keeding! Thanks for the update, Gracey! It's fun even for those who aren't attending today, even though I paid so much for a premium to have the option of it!

Re: New Year's Eve 2007 - News and Running Report Thread

Goo Goo Dolls are my favorite band and everytime they have a show in one of my cities I'm in the other city(i.e. they play in Phoenix i'm in LA and vice versa) and it's usually by a couple days. They had a free concert one night next to ASU's campus and I wasn't going back to phoenix until the next day for example. As a result, I've never seen my favorite band in concert :P

Woulda got tickets for tonight but they're $150 and I'm too tight on cash for that :/

Here's what the waitboard looks like right now....

CM at the waitboard is warning guests of leaving. They're saying its not a good idea if you want to come back in.

Crowds are already lining up in the hub, blankets have been laid out, people are claiming spots. The section immediately in front of the castle is already full.

Some shots of the crowds in the hub...

Lines are insane. Everywhere has a line, restaurants, attractions, restrooms.

Here are the huge queues at Plaza Inn, the Little Red Wagon Corn Dog Cart, and Blue Ribbon Bakery:
