1/2/07 ~ Crowded but fun

I will have to upload pictures when we are all done. It is pretty crowded, but fun. We got to the park around 1:30 and they ended up extending the hours from 11 to midnight at Disneyland and 8 to 9 at DCA. I got to meet up with Trekkie Dad and his wife... My first IRL mice chat meet up..... They were both really nice. Going back tomorrow to brave the wilds. Best thing about today is I was able to keep our little trip a secret from my 7 year-old until we got there. He thought we were just taking a leisurely 4 hours drive to have lunch with my sister...lol. It was worth the long drive to see the excitement on his face when we got there.... Looking forward to riding space mountain tomorrow and seeing the difference. Planning on getting fast passes as soon as we get there.... Well, I am off to bed. I have a sleepy two year-old next to me who refused to let go of todays excitment.

Aww...THANKS.... It was fun... I am enjoying it, becasue I know soon I will not be able to pull the wool so easily over his eyes....lol. I will, my little guy is almost alseep enough to cuddle with. I promise to have fun enough tomorrow for everyone, and post pictures of my fun on Thursday....

I was going to go, but we got off the freeway at Katella, saw the sign that said "DISNEYLAND TICKETS SOLD OUT" and just turned around and went back home. We watched 8 episodes of Arrested Development instead.

We're going at the crack today. Hopefully yesterday may have been the extra day the Michigan folks had before heading back home. In addition, even though my kids are out till Monday, several other schools are going back today. My fingers are crossed that we won't hit capacity. I can't believe they "sold out" on January 2.

Ohhhh! Your post made me tear up. I remember those days, mine are 15, 11 and 9 now. But the excitement is still there. Have fun today! We are going on Friday the 5th and I was hoping it would'nt be crowded, but I keep reading posts and I think it may be. Darn it!!!
