The Squid, Graveyard of Lost Ships, Volcano, and Polar Ice Caps have not been dug out. Only the Atlantis Scene. Since there has been no sign of demo to anything there, I guess all those scenes will reappear.

Graveyard- Bruce, Chum, And Anchor's home.

Ice Caps- Part with Angler Fish

    Volcano- See Press Release

Squid- It hasn't been removed so it should be there!
No I have no idea if the squid was down there all that time. But yeah, I'd assume all three of those parts are still there unless they took that stuff out at night or took it out through the drydocks. I'd love for the new stuff to be mixed in there with the old stuff. The pictures from the 20k ride are pretty sad. Its too bad they didn't wait a year until they demolished their lagoon, they could have had the same ride as we have instead of the scaled down version of "The Seas with Nemo and Friends".

It would have fit even better there considering there subs ride was in FANTASYLAND.

The only odd thing was how to remove the 20k tie-in and replace it with a nemo theme? they would have had to get rid of the Nautilus submarines anyway.

Thanks. The footage of the Octopus was cool, I guess they removed that pretty soon after it opened.

Do you know how long it took them to take all the Atlanis stuff out! It could not take overnight.

The scene with Bruce, Chum, and Anchor is actually in the new showbuilding they built...it involves sunken submarines (im hoping for a nautilus cameo somewhere) and a minefield.

I hope the graveyard of lost ships returns though.

Blech, they wouldn't keep the same animatronic that had been rotting underwater for almost a decade and re-use it. They'd make a new one.

Yeah I'm guessing they took it out the drydock so nobody saw it, or they may have done what they did in Walt Disney World.

who knows, maybe they touched up on it, but I doubt it.

Is there like a big exit in the caves? If not then it couldn't have been torn down. Since they dumped Atlantis in the lagoon I think they would have done the same for the squid.

Just because it wasn't dumped in the lagoon, doesn't mean it's still in the new ride. They could have chopped it to bits and taken out via drydock in barrels. From what I remember, there is NO giant sqiud in the new ride.

The exit to the drydock is probably as big as the entrance and exit to the caverns. They knew people could see into the lagoon so thats probably why they didn't dumb all the squid debris out where the whole world could see it.

That's Sad. But they haven't released much info so it could return. It could fit wonderfully in the whole Angler Fish Scene.

Thanks for telling me that. But it's weird that they would know and still dump Atlantis. We need a brave person to take photos!

I saw this on Youtube before and my husband and I just sat there recalling memories and stuff... I love it when you can experience old rides again... even if it is just a video. I do miss the mermaids and I do hope they keep them for the new ride.
