    Aw, man!

So, with 13 days till I go back to the park, I wanted to take care of my checklist of preparation:

    1. AP - check
    2. HoJo's reservation - check
    3. Anniversary surprise planned - check
    4. Tickets to see "Sith" for the fifth time - check
    5. Stroller wheels WD-40ed - check
    6. Bumping the dead horse stroller debate thread just for grins - FOILED!!!

DISCLAIMER: This post is in no way an invitation to revive that thread. It's a joke. Please don't flame me or continue it. Or I will have to run over you from June 5-8.

If your bringing little ones, have ID tags for them. We used the Disney luggage tags that came with our package and made photo IDs for the twins on our computer.

Don't forget to stop by a Wal-Mart (such as the one just up the 5 Freeway at Anaheim Plaza) and pick up a AA battery-operated fan/spray bottle for just under $5. Why go to Wal-Mart instead of buying the Disneyland version of the exact same thing inside the Park? Because you'll save $10 (Disneyland's goes for $15, and are you buying Mickey & Donald designs on the bottle or are you buying something that will help you deal with the summer heat while standing in the hot sun? If the latter, stop at Wal-Mart and save the ten bucks). This was a LIFESAVER for us on Saturday, and a lot of folks in line with us asked for a shpritz, so it's a very sociable item everyone should have on their list.
My fondest memory of Walt Disney was the day Disneyland opened....I was standing next to him - I was 12 years old - he was looking at the gate where people were coming through, he had his hands behind his back, he had a grin from ear to ear, but you could see the lump in his throat and the tear coming down his cheek because his dream had been realized. -- Mouseketeer Sharon Baird, "Mouseke-Memories", Walt Disney Treasures: The Mickey Mouse Club

Don't forget to bring your "patience", especially if you are viewing the fireworks in the hub.
