I could be wrong, but isn't a part of that building already being used as part of the Monsters Inc. ride?
Rockin Roller Coaster Starring the Red Hot Chilli Peppers :D
Isn't the huge food court building by the Hyperion theatre also being used for that type of thing.
As for what to put into the old Millionaire building. Something NEW maybe. Or what if they used it for a seasonal space for Christmas and Halloween stuff.
Sci-Fi drive in. Or something similar.
Good question. It's not the most ideal spot for an E-Ticket as it's pretty much stuck between Monsters Inc and Muppet Vision.
I think that whole area is kinda ugly to be honest. They need to do away with the "backlot" concept and spruce up all the architecture so it really feels like we're hanging out in a cool area.
I often thought that that area could be turned around into a mini-Monstropolis full of visual gags and fun photo opportunities. Imagine a "stalk" crosswalk sign on one corner. Imagine the Monsters Inc ride with an exterior that looks like the factory from the movie, etc etc.
But back to your question. Dang.. what could they do? Dick Tracy ride?
They could use that and come up with some kind of Soundstage-like attraction based on an ABC TV Show, or some kind of attraction using their popular Disney Channel Shows.
Before Monsters Inc. was built and opened, I always thought of combining the two buildings (Superstar Limo and Millionaire) into and updated version of the Great Movie ride at MGM in florida. Since Monsters Inc. opened, how 'bout a Pixar ride in the Millionaire building!? Don't know what Pixar Ride to put there, but name that back area "Pixar Studio Backlot" to help tie in the Hollywood theme. That way they can cram as many Pixar themed things in that area and at the same time still be "themed".
I say they should tear it down and used it to rebuild Tomorrowland.
I say, put in Mickey's Philharmagic from the Magic Kingdom in WDW. Of course Muppets, another 3D show, is right next door, so maybe it isn't the best idea. Anothe option would be to have Mickey replace Muppets entirely.
