i just heard of the new "rockin" space mountain & california screamin... it sounds pretty cool...

i guess i'm exploring to possibility of going on alone... i guess it's a bit selfish of me... i definately dont want to leave her alone for too long... does anyone have an idea of how long the fast pass lines typically take for these rides, once its your window is open?

has any other father to be been through this? should i just kill the idea?

thanks
Keep in mind that there are other considerations regarding the appropriateness of a ride for pregnant women besides just the speed or 'violence' of the movement.

First, there are the restraint systems. Some might just impose undue pressure on the body in case of certain movements. This is more likely to have an effect the further along the pregnancy is but even an early pregnancy could be put at risk from in inopportune 'hit' at a vulnerable spot.

Second, there are G forces. Again most significant for more advanced pregnancies but check with your doctor.

Finally, and not to be discounted is what might happen in case of a ride breakdown and the necessity of evacuation. There are some failure modes that might require the fire department (not Disney's) to get people down and out and or up and out and they might be 'trapped' on the ride for a long time waiting. One example of this is Soarin' where it's possible that guests could be held in the air. Never happened yet as far as I know but you wouldn't want to be the first one.

Thanks for the explanation. As a recently former southern californian, I can tell you meth is everywhere. It seems to be a problem that is spreading too. Kinda like VD in a world without penicillin.

What is a "method man" and why would a person be a fan of it? Just curious.....
