There *was* talk early last year about the Hitchiking Ghosts getting a digital enhancement this year or sometime, but about as far as I know, and unless someone says otherwise, it was only in it's idea stages.

Nothing. The next thing for the mansion won't happen until WDW gets their attic redone. Only then will the hitchhikers be fiddled with, perhaps next October.

I hear something was supposed to be done to the Hitchhiking Ghosts that go in your carriage at the end. I remember reading they wanted to make so that once a rider gets off they say "How did they do that?!?" instead of "O its just a double sided mirror"

And they need to tone down the lights overall. You shouldn't be able to see every ceiling tile unless you're looking for it

New, Hitchiking ghosts which are fully animated. Possibly the Hat Box Ghost will return.
