If you do it the way I described, you just get a little bit of extra g-forces. It only lasts while you're whipping down that one hill. The effect might work no matter which side of the train you're on; I don't see why it wouldn't.
It works in other rows too. Also, for an 'extended' goat trick ride,
look backwards for the entire ride, so you cannot see/anticipate the
next movement of the train. It's like having the goat trick for the entire ride. And THAT part really is better in the last row. We often will request
the back row.
I have done that a couple times. Its a lot of fun just as long as you dont get yelled at by a CM
