PirateMunkee's 01-11 Trip Report (Pic Heavy)

The first thing we noticed when we arrived at the Plaza was that not one Christmas song was playing. That was a good sign that at last the holidays were over. The park seemed pretty empty and the weather was overcast and cold but who cared.

We walked into the park and the first thing to stand out was NO TREE, NO GARLAND, and NO LIGHTS.

No Tree!!!!!

And to my surprise, guards painting the roses red....er I mean maintainence painting the lightposts black. Yeah!!! We are getting our old Disneyland back!!

We get back into the park and go to the Coffee Shop on Main Street and caught sight of a hidden Mickey...

We go grab some dinner and hear the announcement "Disneyland has concluded operations for the day but for your shopping convenience Main Street will stay open another hour" Now it's time to say goodbye to all our company...M.I.C...C-ya suckers because we have the private party green wrist bands that lets us stay until 1 am.

We left just in time to catch the Parade of Dreams. I just love private parties...Didn't have to find a spot hours ahead of time to see the parade...

All in all we had a wonderful time. Pretty cold and threatened to rain but no lines. Couldn't ask for a better time.

The Star Trader as you exit Star Tours. The front of the shirt reads "Judge me by my size do you?"

Being and artist myself I can see things that just look so cool. The shot I love the most out of the ones I took last night was the shot of BTMR and the orange sky behind it. I so want to paint that shot.

How do you manage that? Or I guess the question is, how do I get my own private party green wrist band?
