I was scared once when we were stopped on Splash. We were going up the last lift, and had to be really careful getting out, and walk back down the stairs. I think I was like 8ish....maybe. That was the only time I think I was actually freaked out on a Disneyland attraction.

I don't ever recall a time when I was stuck on a Disneyland ride.

I got stuck on the Superman Ride in Six-Flags Magic Mountain. The station brakes failed when we returned back into the station. I remember we keep going back, all these black flap tarps were flying over our heads... it all happened really fast. The car finally stopped about 30 feet behind the station and the attendant popped his head from a door and said, "Are you guys alright?" we all said yes, and he then whispered "If you have a camera take a picture, no one gets to see this". So naturally, I did as instructed, took a picture.

I also turned my head to see the Ice formation structure of the entrance right behind us!! Apparently the safety system in place, should you be travelling back and miss the station is magnetic brakes that prevents your cart from smashing through that wall.

I wasn't scared, but it was a heck of a ride. I won't be forgetting that one.
    ...it's been a long time.

I thought this, too, but one time we were riding Pirates and all the lights went out and the music turned off. So we were in the dark with no sound. And right in the middle of the battle scene, my cell phone rang, very loudly, playing the theme to The Simpsons!

We used to ride Rocket Rods on purpose in the hopes it would break down. Then we'd take our back door passes and go to ride Indy instead.

And I've been stuck on Pinocchio too and got to walk out, but it wasn't very exciting. I'd rather have been on Alice!

I was stuck on pirates for 45 minutes and scared I wouldn't get walked off in time to report to work! Luckily, when the CMs finally came by, I flashed my ID and they let me off before everyone else!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

Okay, so this isn't DL but WDW - I was once stuck for about 10 minutes in Spaceship Earth (Epcot - big golf ball looking thing - can't miss it) on one of the VERY steep inclines at the beginning of the ride. I was about 10 - pretty scary!

eh- I got stuck in there on Sunday. Not a bad place- at the top with the stars and earth, but we were RIGHT next to the speaker. "Attention Travelers, please remain seated. Your vehicle is rotating backwards for your return to earth"

    OVER and OVER..augh!!

When I was like 7 we were in line for Splash Mountain and I was DREADING it. I'd never been on it before and I was convinced the ride would break down and I'd die. We were standing in line (and probably had been for a good hour already) and we were in the part of the line with the rocky walls, and suddenly they announced the ride had broken down and escorted us out the back. I remember seeing the backstage area and looking at a bunch of boats and logs and thinking it was stiiiiinky! I was really glad I didn't have to ride it, but I felt guilty since the rest of my family wanted to ride it, and I felt like it was my fault. Eh. Anyway, that whole experience was terrifying to me.

I got stuck in Pooh one time. It was gross.

Also got to hop off one of the POTC boats right at the beginning of the fire scene. Got to walk over the bridge and everything. Very cool!

I was stuck in HM in the seance room for about 30 minutes- but the really creepy part was we happened to be the first people on the ride that day, and we were turned so all we could see was the doombuggies ahead of us- which contained nobody! So we felt like we were all alone! After awhile, they turned the music off, but Leota kept talking, and we could hear the knocking noises from the hallway. we eventuallygot evac'd, and got to walk through the hallway- I took a really close look around! We then walked through some backstage area where the "Don't open till XMAS" tag that goes on the coffin during HMH was hanging on the wall. It was really cool, but quite creepy.

To all who use fastpasses , your fastpass is valid anytime after the frist time throughout that day, so if its at 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm you can go anytime after 4:30 till closing that day, just fyi! I have picked up tickets off the ground and gotten on like 10 rides because of people just throwing it on the ground, kinda cool!

But lets see i was stuck on pino. and they didnt turn on the worklights so i ended up by the tobacco guy with his arm going up and down, it was fun walking back out and weclapped when we finally went all the way through and the cms were waving and smiling, i dont know who made each others day more us to cms or cms to us.

Aniko thanks for the great "behind the scenes shots" I love that stuff!
In all my years, I have never been escorted off an attraction, been broke down briefly many times.

Two weeks ago, we got stuck just behind the log that was going to drop.
I was taking it all in stride for a few minutes, then I became just a little nervous, as time went by. I kept wondering how on earth would they get us out of our log which was just hanging there almost at the top! But we got going. Anyone know how they would get you from that particular spot? I have to admit, I didn't like being stuck there at all!

I've been stuck on HM once and it was back in 1995 when they attempted the special ticketed Halloween thing at night. (Boy was that pretty bad). Anyway, there were three of us on the ride and it stopped for about 5 minutes right at the entrance of the graveyard and there was one of their "live monsters" standing there dressed up as the Phantom of the Opera. I give this guy credit though for all the jabs he had to endure from my friends.

But I do remember back in the early 80s (sorry don't remember what year it was) a really bad storm passed through DL during Catholic Schools week. There were rumors that tornado like winds hit the park so my parents decided to pack us all up and go home. On the way to the main gate I looked up and saw the skyway stuck. There was a boy in his late teens probably (I was 10 or so) that peered over and said help. When we got home my parents turned to channel 7 news and DL was on the news as well as all the people stuck on the skyway. What was so funny...I saw the kid that said help being interviewed on tv. Ever since that day, I can go on roller coaster that invert you in so many ways but I won't go on anything that reminds me of the skyway.

Oh oh oh ! I had that happen to me too! It was really creepy especially since we were the last car of the night. We were stopped and they were having trouble getting the car to come slowly forward. We were all sitting there on our cell phones at like 1230 in the morning and then all of a sudden, with no warning might I add they launched the ride. THAT scared the crap out of everybody, here we were all thinking that we would die. Definitely exhilirating to say the least! I still can't bring myself to go back on that ride after that though.
