Ever Been Stuck On An Attraction And Scared?

I was reading the thread about the indie ride breaking down and was reminded of an experience I had on a ride breaking down, and it was not pleasant. I thought it would be fun to share some "scary" experiences on broken down attractions.
I was solo on pinnochio (yes I know, a very, very scary attraction) when suddenly it just stopped! I was in limbo for about five minutes when a CM announced that they would be there shortly to offer assistance. the scary thing was that I was stopped in the area where they start to destroy pleasure island. For some reason only part of the sound effects were turned off. I was in front of the pool hall scene where you see the siloutes of the boys fighting and the only sound effect still going was the voice saying "tobacco road" over and over and over again. All the visual effects were still working, it was still dark and there was just that voice "tobacco road, tobacco road, tobacco road". I thought I was in a bad dream! What seemed like 10 min later a smiling CM came and ushered me off the ride (always an enjoyable experince for a Disney fan, as I am sure you know

) there was also the time on splash mountain and the stairs (but that is another story!)

i hate being stuck on that mansion ride, i heard its haunted!

But thw worst are
On pirates, it sorta broke down, it was just the line for the big climb back to the tops was long, it took 20 minutes to get there
In Jungle cruise the boat died so we had to get tugged back, i commend the guy because he was still doing the speil as fast as he can while the boat was taking us back at full speed
thats all i could think of at the momment

Oh my goodness! I got stuck on Pirates, today around 6:15 to 6:30. It was horrible! It was at the very end, where the men are shooting at eachother. They just kept singing, and it was so loud. That one pirate to the left kept forgetting the words and just kept singing, "lala lala lala la!"
I tried to text my friend about 10 minutes into it, but I forgot that there was no reception, being underground.

my bf told me a story of going through pirates in an empty boat when the park was closing, he said that was scary... I dont know what i would do if i was stuck on pinnochio (sp) during the monstro part, i was just recently able to open my eyes when he pops out. :\ but there was once when i was stuck on thunder mountain when your going up the last big hill in that wood shack which changes to a cave with falling rocks, i was pretty little but i remember thinking that the rocks looked that they were really gonna fall, so i was a little freaked.

The only time I've ever got stuck on a ride was on indy 2 years ago. There's been other times though when I've been on rides that stop but eventually get going again.

I got stuck on Pirates, too. For an hour, in the middle of the fire scene, which as we all know, is the LOUDEST scene in the attraction. I can't say I was scared, but I was really curious if I could jump to land from the boat from where I was. I heard people had been escorted off Pirates that way and I didn't like my chances of coming out dry. But alas, I emerged the same way as always, dry of course, but with a massive headache!

How fun! keep the storeis coming! I got stuck on pirates 2 weeks ago, where the roof beams are falling in (I began to wish that the table would fall on me!) 30 min. later, it started moving again to the sound of cheers. (I missed my fast pass to Indiana Jones

i've been stuck on Pinocchio before, but it was kinda awesome! The CM came to get me & some friends, and we asked if it'd be cool to take some pics! I wish I had some of those to post. We were in the carnival scene. Took a pic with the ginormous popcorn, and some other fun ones before he walked us out. It was awesome!

I was scared once when we were stopped on Splash. We were going up the last lift, and had to be really careful getting out, and walk back down the stairs. I think I was like 8ish....maybe. That was the only time I think I was actually freaked out on a Disneyland attraction.

I Got stuck on pirates for an hr, and all i kept hearing was don't tell him carlos don't be cheeky... lol i jus wanted off the boat

OMG, when I got stuck on Splash Mountain...scariest thing ever. We got stuck right in front of Brer Rabbit and Brer turtle. They managed to turn them off, but I looked over my shoulder and all the birds were still moving but there was no sound. Without the song it looked like they all had these evil grins on and were silently plotting to kill us. Quite an experience. Not to mention a kid in our boat kept putting his hand in the water while we were stopped. Over and over despite the CM coming over the speaker system countless times telling him to stop. (It was kinda funny, you could tell he was furious but he couldn't yell because it's DL)

Birds they scare me on ocation... why do i keep listing to the fireworks ok sorry went off topic oh this one time we were in tough to be a bug and....
