We went to Disneyland with a genuine VIP celebrity!

On Sunday, January 14 my fiance and I went to Disneyland with a very famous celebrity. Although he was not nominated for best supporting actor for his role in Cast Away, he still gets noticed and is still a celebrity, although City Hall declined to give us an official VIP escort around the park. So here is our trip report with the one and only.......Wilson.



Here we are in front of the park. This was Wilson's first time here so he wanted to get the usual tourist pic in front of the famous Mickey. He's not quite as tall as he appears on the big screen so my fiance had to help him out a little bit.



After being turned down for a VIP escort at City Hall we ran into Goofy who immediately recognized Wilson and asked to have his picture taken with Wilson and of course he was delighted.



Ah...here comes the train! This is also Wilsons first time on a train. He's had such a sheltered life.



After signing a few autographs and posing for some pictures we board the train and head over to New Orleans Square.



Wilson was very excited to ride on Pirates. He was invited to the premier last year but couldn't make it.



Wilson liked it so much he called his agent so that he could be cast in the next Pirates movie.



Here we are at Big Thunder Mountain. Although he was a little uneasy about going on a rollercoaster we finally talked him into it and he loved it.



Here we are at the Rivers if America. Wilson wanted to take a swim but we talked him out of it.



While walking the Big Thunder Mountain Trail we spotted this ultra rare double hidden Mickey!



No trip to Disneyland is complete without the obligatory photo in front of the castle. Although there were 4 Disneyland photo CM's standing around talking to each other not a single one offered to take a group picture of us. Wilson was most displeased.

Mostly smiles and "hey! It's Wilson!" and a few requests for photos, but no weird looks.

Wilson is not a prop! He gets quite upset when people call him a prop. He's a genuine actor with genuine feelings so please do not refer to him as a prop. Thank you.

It's a photoshop trick picture. The castle was superimposed at the opposite end of main street.

The pictures of Wilson's first visit to DL have attracted a volley of kind comments in return, including my own! Nice pics, great to see another star of Wilson's stature seeing where the rubber meets the road, so to speak, at the Happiest Place On Earth.
