    Disneyland Murders!

Sence there was another thread on disneyland deaths, I thought it would be interesting to talk about disneyland murders. My uncle is a HUGE Disneyland fan and he said that WAY BACK before I was born, that 3 people have been murdered in the park. Of course, disneyland has denied all rumors. But according to my uncle, it's true.
    Anyone know of any details?

I think a better thread is to name an amusement/theme park that hasn't had a murder or attack. I don't think that's possible :P

    Good one!

I know the stabbing and at least one of, if not both of the shootings are true. Actually, I am pretty sure they both are. I don't have the dates, although I have found them before I could try to do it again. There are websites that confirm them and have details.

I have never heard of the suicide in the parking structure though, that's a new one.

Something about the combo of this thread you started and the question about the Disneyland Security and "does anyone know if Disneyland has metal detectors build in to the gates or somthing" REALLY makes me want to stay away from DL when you visit the park......

I used to get the OC Register and about 2 years ago (or so), I read about the suicide in the parking structure. Don't remember the details, but I think it happened late at night & somehow, the security cameras caught the 'flash' of the gun going off & sent a team to investigate.

Here is a website with some info. I don't think all three of those listed at the top of this page are recounted on the site, but it is still interesting. I wish I could find the most inclusive site that I have found before, but I can't find it.

I believe the stabbing between the Matterhorn and Sub Lagoon happened around 1981. It was definitely in the papers (I'm old enough to remember) and on the news and is, I believe, the only actual homicide to occurr in the park.
