    Re: Disneyland shirts

I love both. I think you should sell them, I'd buy 'em. Great job! Thank you for sharing.

Now, I don't know this but I was thinking that this might be against some sort of copyright laws. Disney has probably copyrighted the image of Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain. Please correct me if I am wrong.
    The shirts do look cool.

Those are great. I wish disney would use more simplistic designs like that. I really dislike most of the bright, almost gaudy nature of much of the chlothing they sell.

I did think of that, but since it is an artist's interpretation of something and doesn't say right on it that it's something Disney, is it okay? The shirts do not say Space Mountain or Haunted Mansion on them.

    Re: Disneyland shirts

That is true. There is an online store made by CMs for CMs called MouseTrap. They had some pictures and sayings that were obviously not Disney appropriate but from what I hear the shirts sell really well. I have seen some people wearing them around the park.

I agree that they look great!! You are very talented!!! I agree though that I would be very careful if you intend to sell them. I have an embroidery business and have had requests for items I have made for my own children with Disney characters and such. I always decline and will not sell copyrighted designs because of this reason. I think you would be fine making them for friends, but putting them on the internet to sell, I would check first before you did this. I would create some of your own designs and start out selling those, they truly are stunning shirts!!

Being that it is a interpretation of the original design, I think (I do not know for sure) that there might be a problem. I would write a letter to the right person and send a picture, just to double check. That way if there ever is a problem, there is proper documentation to back it up....

Hey you can always offer hubby as a trade for the shirt... , then it would not be considered a sale....

I agree! Great job. They look clean and to the point, not all messed up with words like Resort or Parks.
